Use of Generative AI Disclosure (ChatGPT – OpenAI)

ChatGPT (OpenAI) was used in this project as a support and refinement tool for writing improvement, visual ideation, website troubleshooting guidance, and digital content structuring. The tool assisted in rephrasing sentences for clarity, improving grammar and word choice, refining tone, and organizing written content across multiple website pages and report sections. It was also used to generate visual background ideas, logo mock-up concepts, layout suggestions, and user-interface design inspiration, which were then manually refined, customized, and implemented by the author.

In addition, ChatGPT supported technical problem-solving during the website development phase, particularly when website pages failed to display correctly, navigation menus malfunctioned, and layout formatting issues occurred. A significant amount of time was spent iteratively diagnosing and correcting these issues using AI-guided troubleshooting suggestions, which were then manually tested and executed within the TRUBox WordPress environment.

ChatGPT was also used as a research navigation aid to help identify what types of sources were relevant for specific sections of the project, to clarify which chapters or sections of textbooks were most applicable, and to better understand what concepts to focus on within larger academic readings. This allowed the author to target specific theoretical areas more efficiently rather than reading entire textbooks without direction.
